We played at Aldersley Green today and the weather was largely fine though a bit disappointing after yesterday. The course was still a bit soft and consequently the grass on the fairways was long. There was some very low scoring, but as we were playing Stapleford that wasn’t a good thing! Ade continued his strong start to the season by winning. The results are attached as are the amended handicaps.
On the way around we had a committee meeting primarily to decide what we wanted to do with the bank account but we also agreed some changes to the competitions and handicaps.
- We agreed to introduce a prize fund for each competition each player will be asked to pay £2 a competition, £1.50 of this will go to the winner of the competition and 50p to the winner of nearest the pin (this will roll over if there is no winner).
- We agreed to reduce the amount that handicaps increase
