Play was abandoned after 10 holes due to a huge amount of rain – and klaxons calling us off the course.

On a windy but sunny day – the course turned out to be a lot drier than expected, with some hard ground under feet and under balls!

We played off winter tees but on summer greens, but under winter rules

On a cold but clear day at Sherdley Park, Paul and Ade beat Mike and Tom on the final hole, as Paul nearly chipped in on the 18th hole.

A high quality game was played with both teams playing really good golf and the lead never exceeding 2 holes.

The morning was played as 4 teams for a Texas Scramble (Frank had just flown in from the orient so rested up)

• The committee was reappointed unopposed
• Graham was appointed the Captain for next year
• Discussion on times of events was had with a desire for earlier times if possible
