Today was definitely a day to test your waterproofs. It was raining and windy when we started yet the men set forth. The valiant and the brave managed to do 9 holes before the rivulets of icy water running down their bodies and the smell of bacon, sausage and toast summoned them to the clubhouse. The scores are nothing other than miraculous considering the weather, with Pete Sherlock even managing to birdie stroke index one. Watch this space for the next fixture. Likely to be the weekend of the 12th May. |
