We played at Aldersley Green today and the weather was largely fine though a bit disappointing after yesterday.\u00a0 The course was still a bit soft and consequently the grass on the fairways was long.\u00a0 There was some very low scoring, but as we were playing Stapleford that wasn’t a good thing!\u00a0 Ade continued his strong start to the season by winning.\u00a0 The results are attached as are the amended handicaps.<\/div>\n

On the way around we had a committee meeting primarily to decide what we wanted to do with the bank account but we also agreed some changes to the competitions and handicaps.<\/div>\n

  • We agreed to introduce a prize fund for each competition each player will be asked to pay \u00a32 a competition, \u00a31.50 of this will go to the winner of the competition and 50p to the winner of nearest the pin (this will roll over if there is no winner).<\/li>\n
  • We agreed to reduce the amount that handicaps increase<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
