The Masters was held for the first time in half a decade this year. After talking about playing at this course for many years now we finally had a game at Huyton and Prescot, and although the weather was a tad wet, it wasn’t enough to ruin the day. The winner of the main even this year was also the winner of the first even, many moons ago.<\/p>\n
Due to the chance of inclement weather, we played the main event before the warm up 9 holer, which by the quality of some of the golf, showed that a bit of practice is very useful !!<\/p>\n
The extra points on the day and Ade’s decision to come off during the main event due to a headache, and Pete Sherlock’s decision to come not play in the drizzle have meant a bit of a change at the top of the RC table.
